Gender should not constrain a person’s goals. This year, to amplify women’s voices and in support of the International Women’s Day’s 2021 initiative theme, #ChooseToChallenge, NATEA (North America Taiwanese Engineering & Science Association) is hosting a Women’s Summit over two days, March 5th and March 12th. Day 1: Friday, March 5, 2021; 5:00 to 7:00pm PST

Theme: Women in Tech
Female leaders from top-notch technology firms will share how to change careers, land your dream jobs, and get a seat at the executive roundtable.

Lineup:

  • 5:00 – 5:40 Opening & Tech Trends Sharing with Vickie Tung (Host/Producer, NorCal Co. Podcast) and Jenny Chien (Senior Software Engineer, Google)
  • 5:40 – 6:20 Session One: Pivoting to Success with Jolie Huang (Director of Product Management, Dictionary.com) and moderated by Barbara Smith (Silicon Valley Sales Veteran/Co-founder, VeganReady)

Female investors from leading accelerators and venture capitalists (including 500 Startups) will share their stories and discuss how female entrepreneurs can get support in their startup journey!

  • 5:50 – 6:30 Panel Discussion: Women in Ventures with Grace Chou (Vice President, Felicis Ventures) and Morgan Lai (Founder and General Partner, Formulate Ventures) moderated by Jane Lu (Regional Leader, Lean In & NATEA Board of Director)
  • 6:30 – 7:00 Break-out Networking Session
