In 2020, two of the most discussed topics are undoubtedly COVID-19 and trade tension between the US and China. The theme for this year’s US Taiwan High Tech Forum 2020 (UTHF) draws from these topics, centered on the impact of trade and the pandemic on the high tech industry and the future landscape. This will be a virtual event with the cost sponsored by the Silicon Valley chapter of North America Taiwanese Engineering & Science Association (NATEA).
The event will span across two half days with focused topics on semiconductor and supply chain and the intersection of artificial intelligence and digital health:

- Jason Wang, Professor of Stanford University: “Policy Considerations for the Development, Manufacturing, Financing, and Distribution of COVID-19 Vaccines”

After the speaking series for each day, industry experts will join a panel discussion to share their thought leadership on the theme for the day.
